Description:
On 5th May 2025, St. Joseph’s proudly celebrated Founder’s Day to honour the life and legacy of Blessed Edmund Rice, the visionary founder of the Christian Brothers. The event was a heartfelt tribute to his unwavering dedication to the education of the poor and marginalized. The celebration commenced with a special prayer service led by the school boys, focusing on Edmund Rice’s mission of compassion, justice, and service. This was followed by a moving presentation by students, highlighting the significant contributions of the Christian Brothers in establishing schools and uplifting the underprivileged through education. Students also performed a skit portraying the life of Edmund Rice, emphasizing his journey from a wealthy businessman to a selfless educator. The Principal, in his address, encouraged students to carry forward the values of empathy, service, and inclusivity. The day concluded with a community outreach activity organized by the school, reinforcing Edmund Rice’s enduring message of love and service to others. Founder’s Day served as a meaningful reminder of the transformative power of education and the responsibility to uplift those in need.
