Description: St. Joseph’s College Independence Day Celebration On the midnight of the 15th August, 1947, when our nation gained independence, our founding fathers had dreamt of a nation where everyone is happy and peaceful. Here we are celebrating the 75th year of independence as AzadikaAmritMahotsav. We at St. Joseph's College celebrated this event with great fervour. Our Junior Josephytes were not left behind. They presented on stage a wide array of colours, just like the different hues and traditions of India. They sang, they danced, recited poems in English, Hindi and Bengali, they walked the ramp to show the unity in diversity and they paid tribute to our national heroes by dressing as them. The teachers were also not left behind. Each class had their own special activity to mark this special ocassion.
